Video for health systems.

Patient stories, openings, recruiting and foundation films, from one Columbus crew that runs video as a program: one team, one look and one process across every campus and channel.

Trusted by teams at

This page is for marketing, foundation and HR teams at hospitals and health systems. You tell a handful of stories again and again: a patient who made it home, a nurse who stayed, a building that opened, a donor whose gift made it possible. Each one has to be filmed with care, on a clinical schedule, under strict privacy rules, and it has to look like one system across every campus. That is the program we run.

Films for every part of a health system.

One program, every campus.

Since 2024, Nationwide has brought us back for about 20 productions in 11 states, from Portland and Sacramento to Charlotte and Atlanta. A health system has the same shape of need: many locations, real people, and a brand that has to look like one system.

How a program is scoped

A set number of story packages a year. Each package is a defined deliverable: story development and interview prep, a half or full shoot day with a two-camera interview and b-roll, then a hero cut with social cutdowns, color, sound mix and captions. You get the same crew every time, priority on our calendar and a process that gets faster with each story.

Real people, one standard.

Four campaigns built on real people telling their own stories, each the same shape as the work a health system needs.

Customer Stories

About 20 customer and agent stories across 11 states since 2024, with the same crew and the same standard in every city.

Nationwide, headquartered in Columbus, has brought us back again and again for customer and agent stories filmed across the country, from Portland and Sacramento to Charlotte and Atlanta. Each shoot is built on real people and documentary interviews, with a lean crew that lands in any city and delivers the same look every time. With advance planning, one trip can cover more than one story, which keeps the cost per film down.

Day of Giving

Five student films, each built around a student personally connected to a cause. The campaign beat its new-donor goal by 283%.

Each film centers on a student with a personal stake in a cause: animal welfare, cancer research, food insecurity, veteran support and the opioid epidemic. We pre-interviewed every student and wrote voiceover from their own experience, then carried one look through all five films. Personalized titles brought a 42% lift in giving rate.

Issue 21

Three 30-second broadcast spots built around real graduates, including a nurse and a medical student. Franklin County voters approved the $300 million bond issue.

We filmed graduates and employers looking straight into the lens, three spots for broadcast and one case to voters. The unofficial county count was 60% yes. Columbus State has been a production partner since 2015, and this is the shape of a recruiting or workforce film for a health system: real people in the roles you need to fill, making the case in 30 seconds.

Lifeline Christian Mission

A day in the life

A multi-year documentary series on the children reached by Lifeline's schools, churches and health programs, filmed in five countries.

We worked alongside local Lifeline staff in each country so every story was told respectfully and accurately. Each country has its own film, and together they share one look and one message. It is the closest work we have to a patient story: people in care settings, filmed with dignity, on a schedule set by the people serving them.

How we work.

Six steps, built around clinical schedules and your review process. One fixed-fee quote per deliverable, two rounds of revisions, on deadline.
1

Discovery

Your goals, audiences and calendar, and the stories already in your building.

2

Story development

We find and pre-interview people, then write a short treatment for your approval.

3

Clearances

Consent and release forms, locations, and privacy and compliance review, all before the shoot.

4

Production

A small crew, scheduled around care, with your team escorting us on site.

5

Edit and review

Review links with time-coded notes. Two rounds of consolidated revisions.

6

Finish and deliver

Color, sound mix, captions and cutdowns, delivered with the source footage.

Care comes first.

A hospital is not a set. We plan every shoot around the people being cared for and the rules that protect them.

Privacy first

We work within your HIPAA and media policies, use your consent and release forms, and keep footage on secure storage. Nothing leaves our hands without your approval.

A footprint that fits

A compact crew and quiet gear when care calls for it, a full crew when the story does. Either way we schedule around care and follow your badge, escort and infection-control rules.

Dignity

Patients and families choose what they share. We film people as themselves, with time to get comfortable on camera.

Review built in

We plan time for legal, compliance and clinical review at every approval point.

Gear and footage.

CamerasCinema cameras, including the ARRI Alexa 35, and real film cameras: the same tools used on commercials and features.
AerialDrone footage, flown by an FAA-certified pilot.
Lighting and soundA full lighting, grip and sound package on every shoot.
PostEditing, motion graphics, color and sound, led by our team.
AccessibilityClosed-caption files for every film, so your team can meet its accessibility standards on any platform.

Planned to stretch

With advance planning we can shoot more than one story in a day, which saves on crew and travel. Over a continuing relationship, every shoot adds to a footage library your team can pull from for years.

Your footage

Every project uses the same folder structure, with footage organized by date and backed up during production. Finished films and source footage are delivered by cloud transfer, so your team can build its own library.

Rights and usage

Your health system owns the finished films, source footage and project files, and can reuse them for its own communications with no added fees. Licensed music, stock and voiceover follow their own license terms.

The leads on every story.

Our core team leads every project, from the first idea to the final cut. When a shoot calls for more hands, we scale up with Columbus production support that works under our direction, and we share the full crew list with you for approval before it is booked.

What a first year could look like.

An example only. The real plan is built around your calendar, openings and campaigns.
1

Quarter 1

Discovery, one shared look and a library shoot across campuses. The first two patient stories.

2

Quarter 2

Patient stories continue each month. A nursing recruiting series. A foundation donor film.

3

Quarter 3

Build capture on a new facility with drone progress. A service-line spot for broadcast and web.

4

Quarter 4

Giving-day or year-end donor films. An opening or anniversary film. A year-in-review cut.

Three ways to work together.

Everything is scoped per deliverable, so you always know what you're getting. We quote fixed-fee after the first call.

Common questions, quick answers.

The questions we hear first from hospital marketing, foundation and HR teams.

How do you handle HIPAA and patient privacy?

We work within your HIPAA and media policies rather than our own. We use your consent and release forms, film only the people who have agreed to be filmed, keep footage on secure storage, and build legal, compliance and clinical review into the schedule. Nothing is published without your approval.

How much disruption does a shoot cause on a unit?

As little as the setting needs. A patient story on a unit is a two-camera interview and b-roll with a compact crew and quiet gear. An opening film or a broadcast spot brings the crew the story calls for. Either way we schedule around care, follow your badge, escort and infection-control rules, and your team escorts us the whole time we are on site.

Can one shoot day produce more than one film?

It can, with advance planning. When stories are scheduled together we can shoot more than one in a day, which saves on crew and travel. Over a continuing relationship, every shoot also adds to a footage library, so later films can pull from what has already been captured instead of starting from zero.

Who owns the footage?

You do. Your health system owns the finished films, the source footage and the project files, and can reuse them for its own communications with no added fees. Licensed music, stock and voiceover follow their own license terms.

Do you travel between campuses and cities?

Yes. Most of our shoots are outside central Ohio. The Nationwide program alone has taken us to 11 states since 2024. Travel is built into the fixed quote, and a small crew moves between hospitals, clinics and outpatient sites the same way it moves between cities.

How fast can you turn a story around?

Most single stories deliver in four to six weeks from the shoot, including two rounds of consolidated revisions. Event and internal video can be faster. For a program, the process gets quicker with each story because the look, the forms and the approvals are already set.

Do you provide captions and accessible files?

Closed-caption files come with every film, so your team can meet its accessibility standards on any platform.

Let's make your stories travel.

Tell us what's coming up: an opening, a campaign, a giving day or a hiring push. We'll come back with a plan and a quote for the first set of stories.
