Founded in 2012, Doozy Crew is a Columbus-based video production company that has spent 14 years building work for brands that need to break through — from regional commercial campaigns to national brand films and international travel documentaries. The studio operates the only Cinema Robot motion control system available for hire in Columbus, employs FAA Part 107 certified drone operators, and produces animation and motion graphics in-house. Past clients include the Detroit Pistons, JW Marriott, Ohio State University, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and Columbus State Community College.

Grant Smucker founded Doozy Crew in 2012after a decade of freelance cinematography and creative direction across commercial and brand work. He directs and shoots the studio's flagship projects, leads creative for campaigns, and is the technical lead on the Cinema Robot motion control system. Available for interviews on small-business video production, the economics of regional studios competing with coastal markets, and the practical application of motion control and drone cinematography in commercial work.
