Yes. Our crew operates indoor-capable drones, including FPV systems, for venue interiors, warehouse and manufacturing reveals, arena shots, and product-launch fly-throughs where a traditional camera move would be impossible. FPV gives a dynamic, first-person flight feel that's become a signature shot in modern commercial work.

Yes. Any commercial drone flight in the United States requires the operator to hold an FAA Part 107 certificate, plus airspace authorization for restricted zones (around airports, stadiums, national parks, and other controlled airspace). Doozy Crew handles the certifications and authorizations as part of the production — clients don't need to apply for anything separately.

They're the same craft, different terms. "Aerial cinematography" emphasizes the cinematic intent — designed shots that match the rest of the production's look and grade. "Drone footage" sometimes means raw establishing shots without the same creative direction. Doozy Crew shoots aerial cinematography: the drone is part of the cinematographer's toolkit, not a separate vendor.

Drone work as a standalone deliverable can start in the low thousands for a single half-day shoot in a non-restricted area. For drone integrated into a larger production (which is how most clients use it), the drone time rolls into the full project quote. After the kickoff call, we provide a fixed-fee proposal covering the full scope, including airspace authorization where needed.

Our primary aerial platform is the DJI Inspire 2 with the X7 camera — full 6K capture, professional log color, and interchangeable cinema lenses. For smaller spaces and tracking shots we use platforms like the DJI Mavic 3 Cine. Camera selection depends on shoot requirements, not a default loadout.

Yes, with the right authorizations. Resort and hospitality drone work is a regular part of our production calendar — sweeping property reveals, beach and pool aerials, and architectural beauty shots. Sports venues and events typically sit in restricted airspace requiring case-by-case FAA authorization, which we handle as part of pre-production.
