What's the difference between motion graphics and animation?

Motion graphics use type, shapes, and design elements to communicate information — title sequences, lower-thirds, sports broadcast graphics, animated infographics, sponsor activations. Animation tells stories with characters, environments, and narrative. They overlap, and a single project often uses both, but motion graphics tends to live inside or alongside live-action while animation can stand on its own.

Does Doozy Crew have experience with sports broadcast motion graphics?

Yes. We've produced in-arena motion graphics for the Detroit Pistons across three NBA seasons, designing and animating content for the displays at Little Caesars Arena — including sponsor activations, fan prompts, and theme nights. Sports broadcast motion graphics is one of our deepest specialties.

Can motion graphics be optimized for social media?

Yes. Most motion graphics deliverables include 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 versions, with cutdowns at :15, :30, and :60 where appropriate. Designing for social means more than reformatting — pacing, type sizing, and where action lands within the safe area all change between landscape and vertical.

Can you create lower-thirds or graphics for our existing video?

Yes. We design and animate lower-thirds, title cards, callouts, end-cards, and motion logos that drop into footage you already have. We can work from a brand guideline or design the motion language from scratch.

How much does motion graphics work cost in Columbus?

Motion graphics scope ranges from a single animated logo or title sequence (lower thousands) to multi-game broadcast packages or full brand motion systems (higher five figures). After the kickoff call, we provide a fixed-fee quote based on the deliverable count, complexity, and timeline.

What's the typical turnaround for motion graphics?

Smaller deliverables (a logo animation, a single lower-third package) typically turn in one to two weeks. Larger systems — a broadcast package or a full motion design language for a brand — usually run three to six weeks depending on the asset count.
